Pricing

During our launch preview, every published tour is free — every stop, no purchase needed. When the launch preview ends, the pricing below applies:

• Walking Pass — $9.99 (lifetime purchase, unlocks every walking and heritage tour)
• Driving Pass — $9.99 (lifetime purchase, unlocks every scenic drive)

The two passes are independent — you can buy either one on its own, and neither requires the other. After a purchase we may offer you the other pass for an additional $5; that offer is only ever made after you have bought, and is not sold as a separate product.

The first three stops of every tour are free — no card required.

Refund Policy

Not happy with your purchase? Contact us within 14 days for a full refund. This policy applies to all purchases made once paid passes are available — email Questions? Email us and we'll sort it out.

Privacy Policy

We collect as little as possible, and here is all of it:

• Your location never leaves your phone. If you allow location access, your position is compared against tour stop locations on your device to trigger the right audio. It is not transmitted to us or anyone else, and it is not stored.
• No accounts, no tracking cookies. There is nothing to sign up for, and we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• Offline storage on your device. To keep tours working with a weak signal, your browser may cache pages and audio locally (standard web caching plus a small session flag). You can clear this any time in your browser settings.
• Server logs. When your device requests a page or an audio file, our hosting providers (Cloudflare) record standard technical logs — such as IP address, request time and URL — used only for security and to keep the service running.
• Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-focused tool that shows us page-level totals (visits, referrers, countries). It does not identify you or follow you across the web.
• Map tiles. Tour maps load from OpenStreetMap, which receives the standard technical request data any image load involves. See OSMF's privacy policy.
• Your email, only if you give it. At the end of a tour you can leave an email address to hear about new Atlas tours. It is optional — the feedback form works without it — and it is only stored if you tick the consent box. We use it for news of new tours and nothing else. It is never sold, never shared, and never used to identify you in any of the measurements below.
• How we count visits. To know how many people used a tour, our own server turns your IP address and browser into a short one-way code for that day. We never store your IP address, and the key used to make the code is thrown away within 48 hours, so the code cannot be reversed or matched to you, and the same phone gets a different code tomorrow. Nothing is stored on your device for this — no cookie, no identifier.
• When paid passes launch, payments will be processed by Stripe. We will never see or store your card details — they go directly to Stripe, and their privacy policy covers that processing. We'll receive only what's needed to honor your purchase (such as an email receipt reference).

Email list — the short version

• What we collect: your email address, and only if you type it and tick the consent box. Nothing else — no name, no phone number.
• Why: to tell you when a new Atlas tour or city is available.
• Where it lives: our own database, run by Cloudflare, which may store and process it in the EU or the United States. It is kept apart from the measurements above and is not part of them.
• Never sold, never shared. We do not pass it to advertisers, data brokers or partners.
• Unsubscribe or delete: email us using the link above and say the word. We will remove the address and confirm. You do not need an account or a password to do it.

Terms of Use

• Personal use. Tours are for your personal, non-commercial use. Audio, scripts and site content are © 2026 Atlas World Audio Tours Ltd and may not be redistributed or resold.
• You are responsible for your own safety. Our tours are audio guides, not navigation or safety equipment. Conditions in Great Smoky Mountains National Park change — trails close, weather turns, wildlife is wild. Always follow current National Park Service signage, closures and guidance over anything a recording says, keep your eyes on the road or trail (never operate a phone while driving), and make your own judgment about what is safe for you.
• Accuracy. We research every tour carefully and cite our sources, but we can't guarantee every detail remains current. Facilities, access and conditions described in the audio may have changed since recording.
• Availability. The service depends on your device, your connection and our hosting; we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. GPS triggering is approximate — every stop can also be played with a tap.
• Purchases. When paid passes launch, a pass is a lifetime license for the tours it covers, tied to the device/browser used to buy it, refundable as described above.
• Not affiliated with the NPS. Audio Tours – The Smokies is an independent product and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the National Park Service. Some photography on this site is NPS public-domain imagery, credited where used.
